Thame in Oxfordshire was where it all began for Total Maths Tutoring, with our first tutors working in the Thame and Aylesbury region. As a secondary school teacher, our Business owner Craig, noticed just how difficult it was to find a maths tutor with any kind of confidence that they are good at what they do. Because of this, a lot of parents were throwing money away on poor quality tutors they found on tutor ‘search’ sites, where anybody can register regardless of qualifications or experience. Craig used his subject knowledge and teaching experience to hand pick and train a small group of tutors who would ensure that the sessions they offered were of excellent quality. Word spread quickly and our tutors in this area are now working at almost full capacity, with students achieving great results and enjoying their maths again.
